Privacy Policy — Notes Archive
1. Introduction
Notes Archive (“the App”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information the App collects, how it is stored, and how it is used.
2. Information We Collect
The App does not collect personal information for our use.
All notes, images, PDFs, and other content you create or import remain under your control and are stored only in:
- Your device’s local storage
- Your personal Apple iCloud account (if iCloud sync is enabled) via Apple’s CloudKit service
We do not have access to your data.
3. How Your Data Is Stored
- All data is saved locally on your device using Apple’s Core Data framework.
- If iCloud sync is enabled, your data is stored in your private iCloud database, accessible only to you when signed in with your Apple ID.
- Apple’s iCloud service encrypts your data in transit and at rest.
4. How We Use Your Data
We do not collect, read, or transmit your data to our servers. The App only reads and writes data locally and within your private iCloud container for syncing between your devices.
5. Third-Party Services
We do not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking tools. The only third-party service used is Apple’s iCloud (CloudKit) for optional syncing.
6. Children’s Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. All data stays in the user’s iCloud account.
7. Your Rights
Because we do not store your data, any edits or deletions must be done directly in the App on your devices. You can also manage or delete your data from your iCloud account via your Apple ID settings.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the App or legal requirements. Updated versions will be posted within the App Store listing.
